Robert has well over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He began his career as a Certified Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician (7-years). After deciding to go back to school he received a degree in Occupational Safety & Health Management with a Fire Protection Engineering (FPE) Concentration from the University of Maryland. He worked for one of the world's largest Fire Protection Engineering firms for about 9 years helping to design buildings all around the world, including working for the Department of Defense (DOD), the Architect of the Capitol (AOC) & the Library of Congress in DC, as well as, various Nuclear Power Plants across the country. After traveling 85% of the time for his job, he decided it was time to settle down and raise a family here in Vermont. He worked as an Asst. State Fire Marshal, for the Safety Manager for the Agency of Transportation, and as a Safety & Health Consultant for the Department of Labor.
